Political activism within deaf organisations and deaf communities
  • Relevance: Current
  • political participation
  •

My PhD will be looking at political activism within deaf organisations and deaf communities. One of the key things I plan on looking at is the relationship between the work being done by deaf organisations and the deaf communities, as well as the understanding of political activism within these two groups. I will be exploring how intersectionality impacts on the engagement between the deaf organisations and deaf communities.
